Tips to Fight Anxiety And Live Stress-Free

Author: Rick Young
Being plagued with excessive, irrational fear and dread is the way of life for many people who suffer from an anxiety disorder.

If you suffer from anxiety, you're not alone. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the condition affects approximately 19 million U.S. adults. Symptoms of anxiety include sadness, lack of motivation and significant weight change.

However, there are treatments available. To start, many experts suggest reducing stress.

CyberWize, a company that makes supplements for stress, offers the following tips:

* Breathe deeply. Some people who suffer from anxiety can hyperventilate in times of intense worry. This causes short, shallow breaths that can trigger rapid heartbeat and lightheadedness. To get through the worry and to calm your body down, learn breathing exercises that involve taking slow, deep breaths.

* Manage your time. Instead of frantically getting through the day, make a schedule so you know what should be done and when. Be sure to fit in some relaxation time so you can unwind.

* Exercise regularly. Studies show that physical activity has a positive effect on reducing stress and can calm the mind and relax the body. It is recommended that you do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise on most days of the week. To keep from becoming bored with your routine, try something different every few days.

* Take an all-natural supplement. Some health experts recommend taking a supplement formulated to reduce stress, such as Vital StressX.

Made by CyberWize, Vital StressX contains a combination of seven herbs, known as adaptogens, shown in clinical studies to help your body adapt to stressful conditions, boost energy, sharpen memory and strengthen the immune system.

"Vital StressX, taken daily, helps to combat anxiety and stress by maintaining lower levels of cortisol, the stress hormone that can cause adverse chemical changes in the body when high," said Dr. Robert D'Amico, a practitioner and researcher in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
